Good morning everyone, I don't often open discussions but today I feel like it
Sorry for the bad pics !!! 馃憥馃槦馃う
I present a Pre Eberhard Extrafort end 30's / early 40's

40mm steel case with snap caseback, oval pushers, 2' type chronograph bridge, Valjoux 65 movement
More: the last 3 numbers of the caseback are the same as the 3 numbers on the lug 馃槈 ...( matching !!! )
Finally the dial ... in two tones: gray and copper, for me really fascinating

Thanks for reading

Alfredo

I know nothing about these but love the look and good size for modern taste. 馃グ

Thanks for the appreciation ...
For me they are very beautiful watches, with unconventional case measurements for the time
It's difficult to find them with beautiful dials because they are delicate ...
The Pre Extrafort have only been appreciated for about 2 years ... before they were very undervalued watches

Wow, very beautiful watch! I know that several Eberhard historical watches are often presented in international auctions, in particular the Extra-fort models. I have a recent Extra-fort, and I can say that it symbolises all the watchmaking know-how that the Maison had accumulated during its long history.

A gorgeous new Pre-Extra just showed up in my Chrono24 alert ... a bit overpriced at more than $4k though, typical of C24.

Hi guys, not really an Eberhard expert so could use your help! this one popped up from a father of a friend. dial is perfect enamel with no cracks, 1400 movement in good shape. he told me he would sell it for whatever price I gave him, so I really want to be fair, but have no idea and the ones I see at chrono24 range from 3K to 9.5K...help?

Without seeing some more pics and the inside, which could be (probably isn't) a mess, I'd say that is a very clean and well cared-for late-30s/early-40s model. Anything north of US$4K is probably fair, while it could fetch quite a bit more if properly presented. I am not, by any stretch, an expert though.
