If these watches sold for £5.00 no one would give a damn.
Hell, this whole tread is about money.
Hmm best example in the world ? I doubt
Why i doubt ?
I might be wrong but for a all correct ultraman it needs :
A) red hand ... checked
B) deep black glossy dial ... didn’t see that
C) caramel lume (like ALL real ones have) ... didn’t see that
But tis all can be related to wrong monitor color adjustment of my laptop
The production number he took is wrongly interpreted from last fratello article.
The production number is still unknown and so far until today there are less than 50 KNOWN
just my 2 cents
Here is mine
Obviously I'm being slightly dramatic here but it's important to remember why most of us got into this hobby in the first place and I'm sure it wasn't to concentrate on the value.
But instead we have some "learned members" who are so financially invested in these "special" watches being worth lots and lots of cash, that they fight with anyone and everyone who has a slightly different view, or god forbid, a slightly different watch than them.
We have absolute statements being thrown around where there are no absolute facts.
We have press sources stated as if what they have said is holy script, when even the company who produced the watches doesn't have accurate records that indicate how many were made.
And not because the watches themselves are particularly interesting... oh no... it's incredibly obvious to everyone that this is all about money.
Hell, this whole tread is about money.
I dare not show my real Ultra for fear of being ridiculed and belittled. Oh hold on. On second thoughts its just a watch.
hey chris
- i was simply trying to tell the actual and accepted facts about this model... nothing more or less. everybody (incl. you) can have his own opinion.
cheers
but we learned from other members like @simonsays on page before, that omega has no records about this detail.... so how could they know ? especially as others have to send pics for evaluation before they get the extract for evaluation ?
ahhh the mysterious "i asked for the extract and they said it's an ultraman " watch. let me resume your interview (at 11.47 min just for those who care) with WEY COH
it came with a white hand
you send inquiry for an extract
the extract came back and stated , special model fitted with orange hand
then you mounted a orange hand (still the wrong)

the pic from your website
i'm out, waste of bits and bytes
You are the one person to has claimed to have seen or handled 12 examples - and that you personally know the owners and that you are very familiar with them. You are in a position with Ultramans to be the acknowledged expert, and I truly look to you for information.
All I am asking, and I think I am not alone, is that you step up and post a few photos of UM's especially the dials as it is an area of great interest to many of us as it would be a subtle difference, the kind we all love to see.
I do not have access to these watches but you do, so all we ask is that you post photos of them so we can all learn. For me its about learning, not being right.
I know my UM is wrong - I told you all it was - a fluke buy. Lucky me.
We know atm of lets say 25 within the collectors community and all i and other have inspected have the silk black dial and we cover more as half of those watches.
So yes the common sense is that is the correct dial....
