·A strange discussion about "military" watches here i think. The definition should be issued ones. And a "soldier" is a general term. Black dials and big arabic numerals with luminova does not make a watch military as of definition. Not in my world of watches. As the forum is a source of knowledge and has a reputation of susbstantial information I say we shall use proper definitions.

·I think that may be due to the weird idea that some people have that a watch with arabic numerals = military.
I cannot for the life of me fathom it.
most likely this idea spread over time. some bits of information go around and are picked by people wanting to enhance sales or even hype for pieces they own. you can see many people calling tropical dial to destroyed discolor horrible lacquer, so this military thing might come from the idea that military watches had big visible arabic numeral dials with lume hands.
