You'll have to forgive my furry arm, but attached is a photo of a drivers-chronostop that I just finished servicing. it arrived to me not working at all, and without a second hand. I JUST did a movement service (the 865 is a pretty great movement, other than the sliding clutch being unsupported when the stem is out!). Finding the replacement second hand was an adventure, I ended up accidentially buying 2 longer versions of the same one (for the larger chronostop), and had to travel to europe to get this hand!

Overall, this is a bit of a 'rat-rod' watch, which seems appropriate for a driver's chronostop. The case is in well-worn condition. The hands are missing lume in a bunch of places (less obvious thanks to the grey dial), and the second hand I got is a bit rough. However, it runs/functions perfectly! It is far from water proof as I didn't bother replacing gaskets.

Overall, it is a pretty cool/fantastic watch, that I'm now a few hours into wearing. WHICH is where this watch fails. Thanks to the layout, wearing it 'traditionally' on the top of the wrist makes telling time basically impossible. Wearing it as intended, on the bottom fo the wrist, is also quite problematic for a desk-driver like me! Also, my wife already commented on how weird/awkward it was on my wrist upside-down 馃榿

So I guess my conclusion is: This watch is awesome, except if you're going to wear it outside of the car.

That said, anyone want to share pictures of theirs?
