Chronostop Genève Driver with 145.009 caseback mismatch?

Hello Ω Forums friends,

I just acquired this Chronostop Genève, and overall the signs are encouraging - it does not appear to be relumed, the case shows no signs of polishing, the crystal carries the Omega logo, the movement looks clean, and the chronograph seconds hand returns correctly to 12. However, there is a caseback reference - dial mismatch, as the caseback bears only the reference 145.009, which is not consistent with the Driver-style dial.

How significant do you consider this discrepancy?
Is the dial a later swap/modification, or could this be a genuine factory combination from a transitional production run or just a replacement caseback? The seller claims he purchased it this way some 10 years ago from a previous owner who was known to be very particular about his watches.

Unfortunately, I have no practical way to investigate further, as opening the watch to inspect the top plate of the movement would likely complicate any potential return, and I'm not prepared to bear the additional cost of disassembly for a watch I may ultimately not keep.

Thank you as always for your thoughts and expertise!
