Another Rolex 1016 - Does everything check out?

Hi all!

I’m considering the purchase of this Rolex 1016. According to the seller, it is an L serial from 1989 that is all original (though polished).

The watch appears slightly polished, and the dial appears to be a Mark 3. However, I’m not able to tell whether the dial is a service dial or factory (or worse, a fake). Attached are also pictures of the hands. Wanted more eyes on this piece. Does everything check out? Or does it seem like something is out of place?

Thanks all! Photos were from my iPhone.

I have no expertise in Rolex, but that lume appears to be a very bright white for a ~35 year old watch.

Indeed. I may be misunderstanding, but iiuc the last couple years of production of the 1016 (prior to the introduction of the 14270), Rolex started using a mixture that did not yellow easily (due to the zinc sulfide that was added as a luminescent with the Tritium?)

I may be wrong, though, but I couldn’t find any R or L serials that had really patinated dials.
