I hadn't heard of Peccary before but it's very soft. This one has a thin padding and the color accentuates the gold furniture. I've seen them in darker browns as well.

Rios' "regular" lizard (as opposed to their teju liizard) has kind of a uniform horizontal bar pattern that I like. It doesn't much look like any other lizard strap that I've seen from other manufacturers.

I don’t know if you can go wrong with that beauty! The lume could be matched with a nice light brown, or the text would perfectly lend itself to a nice black strap. I think the incredible design of the lugs also opens it up to something funky, like a bright blue. Have fun with it and enjoy, awesome watch!

For very nicely finished products, supple quality leather comfortable to wear which brand/source will you use ?
I’m still thinking about trying genteel but I wonder if you have other recommendations.

I've recently used 7strap.com. Trinh is very good at what she does and fully custom prices are about the same (or less) than Rios and HR.

Can't go wrong with Genteel or Veblenist. Black shell cordovan is from George. Brown shell cordovan from Howard. Both are bespoke and are custom fit to my wonky wrist!

A little update as I received today a nice horween black strap from @jankoxxx, it is very supple so should be very comfortable to wear :

Here is a picture with an ostrich leg try.... but the quality is not there in my opinion (don't like the look nor the comfort of the padded part... and the color/finish is not to my taste). So a miss (but that's an affordable loss) but that's ok.

Later on I will further explore a nice exotic leather or a fun color in goat...

Padded straps don’t work well for me either.

Browse the Fluco company's site. Made in Germany, and most of the straps are proportioned nicely for a watch like that lovely IWC. Craftsmanship is pretty good (there are better), and prices are really good. My favorites are the Chicago (Shell Cordovan) and the Louisiana Full Cut (matte, square-scale alligator with no padding).

Very nice indeed & a very nice match with your Longines.
I'll see if I decide to go for those 199euros - I decided not to at the end with Genteel but the bad results with my 'affordable' ostrich option makes me think I should have paid for the quality. A light grey or your Royal Blue could indeed look good.
