I was about to say that the facets on the deluxe dial dog-leg's case looks kinda sketchy, and the sunburst finish on the central part just looks plain wrong.

Seem like alot of them have been coming out, ranging from 8k to 10k usd. I cant really comment on the originality but i bet i will stay away from these.

As the fakes get better it seems like it might be worth doing atomic absorption spectroscopy on deluxe models to see if they're being faked. I doubt the alloy of gold they're using is a perfect match for what was used in the 60s.

Wow, buy a gold dog leg with normal dial for $2.5k fit a fake dial and triple your money...a dirty business for sure 😒

I am really not an expert (actually quite a noob) and it is obvious that those lugs are too dull and plain, without facets. And the same cand be said about the case, under the bezel. Would be intresting to have a look inside the caseback.
