·Is there anyway to determine how many Omega 145.022-68 Transitionals were manufactured from late 1968 to the end of 1969? I've searched online and I have looked thru the reference book, Moonwatch Only, and I have no definitive answer... maybe that's the answer.
If you consider that approximately 27,000 to 28,000 145.012s were manufactured between the years 1967 to 1969, then you'd divide 28,000 by 3 to come up with approximately 9,500 watches produced per year. Would it follow that the transitional reference 145.022-68 with an 861 calibre movement which was only manufactured for one year, late 1968 to the end of 1969, that approximately 9,500 transitionals were produced or did Omega produce a much larger batch of the 861 calibre in a given year?
Anyone?
