I'll kindly remind folks that millions of women were burned at the stake for no good reason.

Are you playing hard to get? Are we to "read between the lines" to find that you actually like MeganFox?

Regarding the Apple Watch:
I'm so old-fashioned and out-of-style that the Apple Watch was dead to me at the time of its introduction.

Ref. the Apple Watch.
I don't think liking or disliking the Apple Watch means you are necessarily "in" or "out" of style馃榾

Ref. Miss Fox:
No, I am not playing hard to get馃槑 and I have always liked the non-hottie aspect of @meganfox17, and still do.馃槣

But anon, anon, let's move on...so much interesting stuff to talk about in the watch universe. I am sure neither Miss Fox nor I want to carry on this discussion any further. For example, as I am writing this text, Mr @Longbow is posting some great wrist shot pics of the Globemaster annual calendar on another thread...and as he is one of the resident OF Globemaster gurus I am very interested to read what his first impressions were馃嵖

Beware...I've heard that in some countries, even in the 21st century, men and women can still be burned at the stake for high-jacking OF threads::stirthepot::馃榿

Probably can be burned at the stake as well.

Thanks Riviera Paradise!

Reminds me. I gotta go fire up the grill so a pork loin can be cooking while I finish the yard work.

Thanks for bringing the thread back on topic.馃憤
For our highjacking sins, @noelekal and I were risking either burning our steaks or being burnt at the stake or both at the same time!:whipped:

Wonderful to meet someone at OF who has actually tested this Chronos thingy first hand!::psy::

Do you have any pics of videos of how it works? Why do we have to PM? I am sure everyone in OF would love to hear from your personal experience as to what the pros and cons are and watches work best with the Chronos gear!
Please, please, please share馃榾馃嵖

I think you'll have to wait a little longer. I am definately not a smart watch fan, nor it seems Apple product savvy. I had the dumb idea of uploading the GMAC pics from the iPhone then doing the text on my MacBook. The only problem is that I grew up on Windows and I still can't get my head around the F馃がg Apple keyboard. I mean, what the hell is that frying pan plus burger key for on the left of the space bar? ..apart from wiping out text? I just tried to do a copy paste backup of my GMAC review and ended up with text exterminate. Useless seat to keyboard interface. Apple really haven't got ISO layer 8 under control.

LOL @Longbow...

I too hate Mac 馃がnotebooks...I just got myself a lovely new Vaio Z Flip http://us.vaio.com/vaio-z-flip/ with 16GB Ram and 512SSD...made in Japan. Thank God someone has restarted making Vaios in Japan...the top end Vaios were the only real competitors to Apple in terms of design and performance. This baby flies...much nicer than a Surface Pro. Still in the honeymoon period (less than 4 months) though...fingers crossed馃榾

I wear a smartwatch, practically 24/7. It tracks my steps, notifies me about work and personal stuff, give me directions while walking (without having my phone up all the time), controls my music, shows me security camera footage, records conversations that need to be recorded, shows me my shopping list. I can even use it as a remote camera trigger for my phone. It is waterproof and lasts 2-3 days on a charge (Sony Smartwatch 3). It's one of the most useful devices I own.

For people who counter "but your phone can do most of that", I reply "well your home computer and landline can do most of what your mobile phone does, and much better - yet you have a mobile phone. Convenience, convenience"

I wear it on my right wrist. I wear a mechanical watch on my left. If you understand that in function it does not compete with mechanical watches at all (except for maybe the low-low end), then there would be less haterz IMHO.

In my case the most important feature is the alarm, if I was to awaken the good lady "A" at some ungodly hour 馃が

Do you mean this thing?:

Oh yeah, that's JUST what I want - make my watch look like a punk teenager's Honda. 馃う 馃檮

Does it sound like a pissed off bumblebee in a soda can like those PepBoyed cars too? Angry Lawnmower!

You can always turn off the emitting light. It's only used because you can have multiple notifications. This way you know which notification you're getting. As well, doesn't glow like ground effects. In fact, I can barely see it.

Technology can be great if you learn to embrace it.

Great @ulackfocus.馃檨 Just when the nice new OF member @oldskool was going to kindly post worthwhile content about some new watch tech馃憤...you have to come charging in馃槻 and ridicule the whole thing with your funny neon car post馃榿...of course the chronos thing might not work aesthetically with a leather strapped patek calatrava or jlc reverso馃檮...but perhaps it could work with a steel or ceramic sports watch馃榾...a more likely use case scenario IMO...
Let the man speak...I am sure some punters in the OF want to hear more about the actual day to day use of this thingy...@oldskool please...the OF center stage eagerly awaits your post...馃嵖

If I were still giving out custom avatar messages, yours would be Iron(ic) Man or something similar. You're not allowed to have a screen name of "oldskool" and push newfangled gizmos on us cavemen! C'mon oldskool, live up to your screen name and be a fellow anachronism like the rest of us.

Nice try. 馃槈 That would have worked on a few other guys, and maybe even if I was still a moderator (because I'd have to monitor the rest of the members).

This is about as close as I'm going to get to a wristwatch with flashing lights
