Difficult to find watchstrap - help needed

Hello all,

The strap on this Seamaster is on the way out and I'd sooner replace it than get home one day and find that the watch has fallen off my wrist. I'd like replace it like for like in terms of size so I can keep the buckle with it, but that is proving tricky. The lug width is 17mm and the buckle width is 12mm.

If I can get an Omega strap, so much the better but mostly I want something in the right size. I have a big wrist so I would need a longish strap.

I'm in the UK, but don't mind ordering from overseas if necessary.

All suggestions welcome.

Thank you

Nick

This gentleman made a nice alligator skin strap for me (a cuff style). His work is outstanding and his reputation if very good.

+1, got 8 straps from him in the last 5 years.

What is the reference of that Seamaster that takes a 17mm strap? Or do you think the lugs are bent?

Could be 11/16" lug spacing, or 17.5mm

This.

American market watches used this size.

GX 6250.

See below - the watch was from America so I suspect 17.5 mm
