Yesterday Bukowski Auction House, had the seasons last timepiece auction

There was a lot of interesting watches sold on the auction - at different price level.

Hammer price for this Omega Seamaster was approx. 8,600 USD including byers fee:

That sounds pretty cheap for an Ultraman. Did the prices fall on those?

I´m not an expert on Ultraman, so I have know idea if it´s a 100% correct Ultraman. But off course the big notch on the bezel and case at nine o´clcok has a negative influence on the price. Otherwise it seems pretty cheap for a Ultraman.

Serial is in correct range on the Ultraman. But without an extract.... it’s a Speedy with an orange hand. Given the premium some will pay if it’s verified as a UM I find it difficult to believe that the Bukowskis wouldn’t have ordered an extract...

Edit - it would help if I scrolled across the Buchowskis page. In which case someone picked up a bargain, or the market is right pricing these...

I have several books by Charles Bukowski, great poet, that’s the closest I got.

I saw it too, and thought it looked kind of scruffy, but in the end a good deal. I did not buy it though!

😀😀 I just saw that i wrote “.... buy A Bukowskis” - it should of course have been “AT Bukowskis😀” But maybe I should buy a book by Charles Bukowskis - instead of spending my saving on watches. It’s probably a better investment

It looks pretty beaten up - with a wrong crown, a disaster of a bezel, and a bracelet without endlinks. Hammer price including buyers fees was 11,600 USD

I think it’s too much.

Do both if you can but Bukowski isn’t for everyone. I wasn’t toying with your wording it was fine I’m just a Bukowski fan and you got me thinking.

I think it’s too much.

Didn’t buy it but that price is appropriate or even lowish for that example.
