·Hello! I’m new to the forum and so far I’m really enjoying it. It contains so much good information and you folks are pretty funny.
The question I have is there a simple way to tell if you are looking at a true Seamaster? Dials can be redone to imply the item is a Seamaster. Perhaps some Seamasters didn’t even indicate on the dial that they were Seamasters. The “Seamaster” caliber numbers seem to appear on other model movements.
I’ve spent some time searching the forum and haven’t found a guide if such a thing exists.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
Oh, the required photo.
