Do you guyz really want me involved in this same old discussion again? 😵💫
Autocorrect turns Breitling into Breathing. 😒
NEVER!!!!! 😲🤬
It's deployant, derived from the French word for "folding". Simple as that.
Or you could go with deployant, and choose to support those who make the effort to spell it correctly 😉 😁
it is spelt deployante, for those who really make the effort to spell it correctly. 😁
The main thing I like about them, which people don't seem to mention much, is that they start and remain well-centered on my wrist. Regular leather buckle straps (and standard metal bracelets) tend to ride up to one side.
It might be deployant for you but for many others who are wrong its deployment so there😝
Spelt is a fish😁
What have I started?....
Getting back to the OP's original question, I have purchased two very nice double-fold deployants from Bob Davis (RHD). They run about $40 each for the double-fold and single-fold types. Bob apparently designed and had custom manufactured the ones he is selling to his own specs. Mine have been in use for almost a year and are very comfortable.
You can read more about them at his website. Just google RHD deployant clasp. He's also a very nice guy to deal with.
All the Best.
What have I started?
@Jungle Jim, consider this fair warning: your screen name is BEGGING for me to install an avatar picture. Considering you've been here for more than 2 years, I should give you one - but if you have put one in place by tomorrow morning I'll let you slide.
I'm hardly ever this magnanimous so don't confuse it with me being nice. 😁
Thread drift. It's not even that bad considering how things can go here.
