Thanks to @michael e for this brilliant post👍
It helped me identify a couple of parts I needed to complete some watches with original parts. However, for my bumper in SS ref 2446-3H I can’t find the data. I was looking for the part number of the crown. Cousins doesn’t list any. Does anyone here know the correct part number? Thanks for helping me out!

I don't suppose there's a page 5 of this anywhere? The source also has pages 1, 2, 3, 4, 6. Or can anyone please confirm the Swedish crystal ref for case 168.018 / 029 is 47?

The crystal ref for both the 168.018 and 168.029 are listed in the first post...

Thanks, yep I see the Swiss (?) ref is 5118, but was wondering about the Swedish ref. I think it’s 47 but would have been on page 5 of the other catalogue posted.

062PN1094 is the crystal for this watch, and yes OD is 31.4. Note that this is not a tension ring crystal, so it is not pressed in. The OD of the crystal is collapsed slightly in order to get it installed.
Digging this thread up, I’m looking everywhere for 2 crystals of this ref, 062PN1094, or at least a similar compatible as I understand these were not signed anyway, but can’t find any…
Any tips of where to look?
Thanks!

I can't help with a 062PN1094, but what do you mean by similar compatible? If you want a generic crystal, you should be able to easily find a non-tension ring crystal with an OD of 31.4mm. You just need to figure out what profile you need. They're available from any watch parts stock house in the US and they're also available from Cousins.

Thanks! A generic will do the trick, especially with these non signed crystals…I looked on the cousins website (anything similar EU based btw?) and there are many references with different profiles…

this is the profile of what I think to be the original crystal (or at least one that works well with!). Is it a regular dome? A low dome?
Are Sternkreuz crystals good quality?

thanks again! 😀

There is so much here, one finds new stuff even after 6 months when and old thread gets revised.

This thread should be sticky in the watchmaking section.

Hi everyone, I recently acquired a Seamaster Cosmic with reference 165026SP
I was looking for an original crown and I ended up on this thread thanks to some forum members. I also did my research and the funny thing is I ended up getting a variety of apparently corresponding crown references.

Now, how does this happen? Did they change the crown reference over time or are they somehow equivalent? I think I'd be able to find 2 of these crowns over the internet but I'm kind of confused 📖

They discontinue over time and get replaced with other references, I think they call it Bestfit.

Bestfit is a US company that produced and sold parts, and is not related to Omega in any way.

But yes, Omega does change the numbers/style of parts used on watches over time.

PN1064 (062PN1064) is the crystal you need based on Cousins, and 35002 is the crown based on Boley.

Hey!
I’m looking for a new crystal for a 2910 and I just could not find it in the charts…Does anyone know the reference I should be looking for, or at least the size and if there is a retaining ring?
Thanks! 😀
