i need to release into the wild my 3 vintage omega,s and would request your serious consideration of their
condition and valuation l am not seeking to bypass the sales ruling but to arrive at realistic valuations.
this is to fund a purchase of a motorised wheel chair as my parkinsons is progressing.
If i am allowed to post the 3 watches I now have better quality images (they have been posted before)
so I welcome all criticism ...first.watch is the silver constellation

They look like nice original dome dial dog legs but I only see 2 dial shots.

There’s a nice dome dial dog leg on here for sale atm, and that’s around $1500 I think. It’s pretty mint. So, take that as a useful starting reference point.

I'm happy you are not trying to bypass Forum Rules.

Place on eBay at $1 and find out the value.

I am wishing you my best and hoping that your Parkinson's progresses slowly and that you can manage it comfortably for a long time.

Rotor is different in colors, crown is not 10 sided. Hope you can get $850 from it. Maybe a bit less.
Wish you all the best.

many thanks for the response so far ..1/..,what is a dial dog leg ?
2/... different colour rotor does this mean its been replaced? I have had this watch
over 20 year and on a service they replaced the crown so if its a replacement rotor it was replaced prior to my ownership..
is It a good original watch, no lurking horrors ..is there anything I need to do...
this is the first time I am scared to ebay for a Pound /dollar.. letting market forces determine the reality value
please keep critiquing and let me know any good points as well

I think there is only one watch shown in different light conditions.

@chrispegley

Dogleg is the style of case, dome dial is the style of dial.

Replacement crowns are common.
Did they return the original crown after service?

The different colour of the rotor shows that it has likely been replaced at some point.
It is, however, the correct earlier style that matches the watch age.

The dome dial is correct, has onyx inserts in the indices, however, the spotting on the dial does reduce the desirability/ value somewhat.

The lugs and bezel look to be in nice condition, which is important in this reference.
There are scratches on the case back where some ham-fisted person has tried to open the watch.

Movt serial dates the watch to around 1963, so an early 168.005

because of the dial, the watch won’t bring top prices for a dogleg dome dial I’m afraid as it will attract fewer collectors ( who tend to pay most for very good examples ) but I’d be surprised if it didn’t fetch more than $850 - it would all depend on who’s bidding for it.

By way of comparison I sold the same watch in better condition, with the original outer box and bracelet for around £900 a couple of years ago.
Prices have increased slightly for top pieces since then but I’d expect yours to sell around £700 due to average condition.
