·Hi all,
Besides all the nice mechanical vintage Omegas, I fell for the early LCDs.
Recently I bought a 186.0010 on C24 from someone who says he’s not a member here. Watch is authentic, curcuit-board/LCD and case in nice condition.
He said he bought it with a totally wrecked strap like the one on the pictures with the buckle you can see.
Lug width is 20mm, buckle is 14 mm. From what I can tell the buckle seems original to me. But I thought the buckle design is rather late 60s? I went through the buckle thread but I’m still unsure.
Also the tapering from 20 to 14 looks a bit odd to my eyes.
Question to the experts: is that or what would be a period correct buckle for this 1979/1980 Omega?
Thanks for every comment!
