correct buckle for 1947 Longines 4915 (oversize calatrava style)

Hi there, I am looking for info on the correct buckle for my Longines 4915 from 1947. It has fixed spring bars and is 37.5mm case. Does anyone have a catalogue from this era that might shed some light? Thanks!

Catalogues from that period typically did not show buckles, as they were only signed on the back (if at all), and looked like those used by many other manufacturers.

They would have been along these lines, and unsigned examples can be found:

Great thanks Tony! Yes these seem to be consistent with Longines adverts I've seen up until the mid 50's.

The buckle might vary in shape and size based on where the watch was originally sold.

There was a US manufacturer (I wish I knew whom) that made the exact same buckles for Longines, LeCoultre, Wittnauer, Universal and others. It looks like the one in your ad.

They came in two sizes, 13mm and 16mm as well as various metals (steel, gold-plated, 14K and rarely 18K).

Looks like the Tropic strap buckles are a close match to the older ones. More flat areas, but could work in a pinch?
