Cool bumper seamaster or a fake?

Seems to be a good buy!

Some applied markers looks a little off, but could be because they moved a little bit at some point. It happens. But could be a redial though. The subdial does not seem very good: markers look rather sharp but off centered. But could be because of the glass. The scripts look rather good.

So not so easy to tell!

Look at the minute track and how it is visible at the 9 marker but covered by the 3 marker. Would you expect an original dial to have an error like that? I don't have the experience to say but I doubt it. I'll leave it up to the experts to say for sure.

I think its a great buy on a nice watch ! Don't worry about it not being a museum quality watch. Strap it on and wear it.

I guess the first answer to your question would be: no, I would not. The inconsistency between the printed markers and between them and tha applied markers is a common sign of a redial.

But we are talking of an old watch, and other aspects of the dial must be taken into account.

The inconsistency between printed markers is always odd, because, well, they are not supposed to move! But even on genuine dials, the applied markers can move a little bit. True, the first reason why they moved is because they have been removed and set again during a redial! But on old watches, it is not the only one. True again: they will tend more to move if the holes have been enlarged during a redial. But... You've got the idea.

To know for sure, we would have to see the dark side on the dial, where the light can often come from!

But as other said, I would not mind too much here. There are several sign posting it could be an old redial, but it is not too bad and, at that price, it is a nice watch to wear.
