Dial issues on this C Case, currently with 30 or so watchers on Ebay, sold by 'the vintage swiss watch shop.' https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Omega-Constellation-automatic-1969-Vintage-Swiss-Watch/143551766602Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network I have spent far too much time in 'lockdown' studying the finer points of dial lettering, and this one seems suspect. There's the 'newer' Constellation script that I understand via Desmond's blog was introduced later on, certainly not on the 168.017 reference; the writing on 'officially certified' is also all over the place; and it fails the MOY test. But this redial has allowed me to humbly suggest an additional lettering test - the NO test. On my 168.017 and others Ive studied that seem kosher, the O of automatic should sit directly above the N of chronometer. There may be other issues with this watch - crown doesn't look original - but just in case anyone has this on their radar....NOOOOOO!!!!
