This is a fairly unusual ultra thin model with cal. 712. https://www.ebay.de/itm/Armbanduhr-...cially-Certified-163-001-Herren/264593774525?Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network I think that this version should have a second hand and that it is missing. The seller wouldn't send me a close-up pic of the dial center. What do you experts think?
Yes it should have a seconds hand. I can see the pivot where the seconds hand goes into but I can't tell whether it's a bit short or not. EDIT: Looking at the 2nd photo it seems a bit short, honestly... It should stick out more. Not 100% certain.

Thanks. I was wondering if this was a variant without seconds hand. The cal. 712 was often used as a two-hander though it has a central seconds capability. But from the pics I thought there was a pivot there, as dx009 noticed.
in the weekend flea markets in NYC there would often be a few old omegas missing the second hand and found that usually there is a reason why the second hand isn't mounted and it's due to a bad wheel.
Easy to install, certainly. Easy to find, I don't know. But I would not buy a watch in that state for the reason Fred (?) stated above. And no movement pics.
