If you want a bracelet that looks like the on on my watch, right side of photo, you’re gonna want look for a Solid Gold 1098 bracelet with 540 end links. I think I have a couple of the other options that came in solid gold saved somewhere on my computer. I’ll dig em up and post them in a bit.

Edit: here’s a fellow member’s solid gold 1098 on the watch with 540 end links.

According to the list in this thread, the 168.022 takes these bracelets: 1172/515, 1067/532, 1069/524, 1098/540, 1125/560. As you suggested, the 1098 is the one I've mostly seen associated with this reference. I've yet to see one of them being sold in solid gold though. There's also ref 368.827 in solid gold which I've only seen sold in this forum with a watch of this exact reference.

There's also the cost problem. From what I've read, a gold bracelet could be 60-70 grams of 18k. That's €2200 - €2500 of scrap gold value 😗

I referenced that thread as well when I first purchased my orange seconds and was trying to ascertain the bracelet reference number. Throughout my search I came across this old advert, which I posted in this thread, which shows the 166.028 orange seconds on a 1175 bracelet which would have then required no. 48 end links. I have since asked about this bracelet / end link combination with my local AD and they confirmed this combination is listed in Omega's Parts database for the watch reference.

On to the solid gold bracelet references I previously mentioned I share. I've done a hefty bit of searching on these solid gold examples as one day I also hope to have one, so I figured I'd also share what I've found to hopefully help you and any others that may be looking.

Omega shows this reference BA 368.0831 on what looks like a rivet bracelet and in the notes the bracelet is defined as "Bracelet(Vintage) 18K solid yellow gold".

I later found one of our very own members @MacRulez4Ever here on OF had posted photos of their solid gold 168.023 with this rivet style bracelet on the forum, noted as a 1124 reference bracelet. I also appears from their photos that this bracelet style has a built in stretch to it similar to the Speedmaster 1039 (I think, someone correct me if I'm wrong) bracelet reference. Other photos show the stretched section contracted.

@Bill Sohne also posted a Golden Seamaster Chronometer (Date Only) here complete with a rivet bracelet.

Another style I found and was quite curious to find the ref. number, but no such luck yet, was the one shown below on a solid gold 166.032. The dealer notes the bracelet was "18kt Yellow Gold" but unfortunately doesn't provide the reference number. While it looks close to a 1171 style bracelet the narrower width of the center link leads me to believe it's a different reference.

Following that there is this article that shows another solid gold 168.023 on what looks like a solid gold 1171/633 bracelet example

I wish I had the bracelet references for the last two as they are pretty wonderful. Lastly, here's a bit of a roll call for a few other member posts of similar case style solid gold examples.

Amazing information @OneTwo . You're making my work much easier. That 1124 rivet bracelet with the built in stretch looks so good. One can only wish 🙁

Is there any chance Omega sells one of these, or that would be too easy? Maybe @Archer can give some insight.

Haha yes, I have a solid gold 166.032 and would love to get a matching gold bracelet for it someday. Probably not going to happen, but I'm always looking!

If you find 2 or 3 of them, think of us too 😁

PS: Mind sharing a photo of your watch?

@OneTwo found a 168.023 from a 2007 Omegamania catalog I had laying around. Apparently a white gold version also exists with a matching white gold bracelet. To me it looks like the 1124 you pointed in your post.

@GuiltyGear a white gold version!?!?! That is pretty incredible news as I’d always wondered if they made a white gold example. Any photos, ref number, or any information on the white gold example included in the catalog?

Edit: in my surprise I forgot to say thank you sharing!

@OneTwo the catalog page provides the reference as a BC 168.023, but not much more information. It states that it's exceptionally rare and I believe that.

Wonderful @GuiltyGear Thank you! Did a quick search and found this article that had a photo of one as well. The applied Omega logo on the dial is different though. I've never seen that on another with one of the more modern applied logos so interesting to see.

They also had this photo which I assume, since there is no step on the dial is the solid gold case line up of the 168.022.

That black dial example though!!

@OneTwo nice find! It mentions that there's full articles on Klassik Uhren 5.2004 and 6.2004 editions about these Seamasters. If only someone from the forum had access to those magazines.

The gold lineup is fire! 🥰

Agreed, that would be a pretty awesome collection to have! Maybe one of our fellow members will come through with the Klassik Uhren articles.

100% agree, great watch and great price! Keep and eye out for the solid gold bracelets, they’re rare but these solid gold with bracelet 168.022 examples look awesome!

And enjoy the case and concentric dial variant, I’m definitely a fan of them. 😉
Awesome pair you got there.
What bracelet is on the lefro one? Jubilee style one? Cheers

Tried a quick google search to find the OmegaMania Auction and ended up finding all the auction lots including the White Gold BC 168.0023. Enjoy this hi-res photo of it (even had to reduce the size to be able to post to OF).
