Right - Omega will contact you when the watch arrives, you'll have a certain amount of time to inspect the watch and pay if you want it, otherwise the watch is released. Last time they came up with a waiting list, but I don't know exactly how that list was used. There is evidence to suggest VIP clients were offered ST1's that went unclaimed, whether they were on the wait list or not.
Did they call by phone or email, do you know?
I had both an email, and a phone call.
For the sake of curiosity, I clicked the button to reserve 10 minutes after I received the email, and they were all taken. We'll see how the speculators make out on this one I guess.
crashed for me. i had one up to the point of the confirm button ;(
Unfreadkinbelievable. Work today lasted twice as long as usual. Double shift. We were so swamped that the only way I could judge the time was by how exhausted I was. Got to my car in the parking lot just before 10:00 and I'm shut out.
Ultraman - my #1 choice for this ST.
42mm - my sweet spot in case size.
Once again I'm on the waiting list. ¡Hijo de la Chingada! Aways a bride's maid, never a bride. 🙁

Dude, seriously, couldn't you go to the dumpster round 11:55 CET????? Surely bodily functions are allowed at work?
A favorite expression of mine. Its proven true all too often. Like today.
Funny, but I happened to wake up right at 6:00 am, so I went downstairs to check my email and the Omega site. I had an email from 20 minutes earlier saying to keep watching for the announcement... I went to OF, and saw the site had just gone live, so I clicked over to Omega. The dang "number reserved for the next 5 minutes" definitely meant a lot of people were probably searching for specific numbers, but many numbers were tied up while people had time to search for others. After several minutes I resigned myself and went with a random number. Then it took 3 tries before the site worked and let me reserve. After receiving the email to confirm, it took several tries to register the confirmation. All of this was within about a 10 minute window. 20 minutes later I received the email from Omega announcing the watch -- and at that point they were already all reserved (or at least all of the numbers were tied up) 😁
