I'm pro watch winder but not an expensive one. I keep a cheap one watch Diplomat for when I need it. I think it was $35 on Amazon. I've had one since around 2016. It's not much to look at so mine is not displayed prominently but it works well. It's quiet. It has multiple turn cycles and turns in both directions.

I don't always use it but if I feel like I haven't worn a watch enough during the day (because I'm swapping watches) or if I think I've been especially sedentary during the day I'll throw the watch on the winder overnight and the next day I know it's good to go.

It's not an absolute necessity, but I think it has its purpose. I just wouldn't buy an expensive one.

MORE great advice and it sounds like a good experience for you. Thanks!

Save your money for a Wolf. Near the end of the year, they can be had for less than MSRP. Just get on their mailing list.

I've owned four and have never been disappointed with any.

No watch winder unless the movement is difficult (or "dangerous") to set
