Condensation in this humid weather (UK)

We have been experiencing some pretty hot weather in the UK recently. The tabloids have been having a field day with their doom mongering and maybe it's justified. What I know is this weather is having an influence on my choice for daily wearers. Today for example (2/8/2022) was pretty humid and to my dismay my much loved Certina DS showed signs of condensation after a downpour on what was quite a hot day though the watch was tucked under my sleeve. The same happened last week to another vintage piece. Anybody else having the same problem?
