A minor point but these are usually badly executed fantasy redials not fakes. The basis for the watch is normally a real Omega, they aren’t made from scratch. It doesn’t take much research to spot these, they are almost caricatures of actual designs with a pinch of Railmaster and pumpkin faux radium lume.

This one sold for £1800+ GBP (around $2500)!

OMG. When one considers what the buyer could have purchased for $2,500 USD, OMFG. What an abomination. ::facepalm1::

I do wonder if they’re buying many of these themselves. They are being listed/sold each week and I’d have thought some poor bastard would have shown up here asking for opinions by now

I feel bad whenever I see these because as a once upon a time newcomer who was burned once or twice, I really hope people aren't falling prey to these scam sellers.
