·Remember too, the MOY test is not foolproof. This is a pretty obvious redial. The text is crooked and too blocky/bold. Just looks wrong. Keep looking at examples until these jump out at you. Best of luck.

·As above, the MOY test is just one item to look at and depending on the Constellation it may not prove a good dial/ redial.
You need to look at the dial as a hole.
This one screams ‘off’ at 10 paces but you’re not necessarily going to know that yet.
So look at the individual parts separately to get a feel for its authenticity.
E.g have you ever seen another ( authentic) dogleg with the spelling chronometre ?
This spelling doesn’t (legitimately) appear on a dogleg.
You need to look at the dial as a hole.

·And I'd recommend leaning towards purchases from OF private sellers until you have more experience...I've had the bug for a year and a half and continue to find it a great safe source for purchases
