I'm servicing them on my own, because I don't want to sent them across borders to get a good job done. I have a lot of these hummers, not only Omega but of every brand from Baume to Zenith. The shipping costs alone would eat my hobby budget very fast.

I wish I had an ounce of mechanical intelligence myself! How hard is it for you to find parts? In USA ?

I'm sourcing my parts used and new from all over the world (ebay, online shops, watch makers, friends, etc.). Normally it is not a big challenge, sometimes you have to wait for an offer, a couple of weeks is enough in 99% of the cases. The longest waiting time so far was for a complete ESA 9210 (Omega 1255) movement. This took approx. one year, now it looks like this:

It will get a new crystal and then it's done.

Nice. I am starting to collect these myself, so far only Bulova, IWC and Omega.
