I always liked the Jensen Interceptor, Dad had a pair back when I was @18, I particularly liked swanning around in one like this:

Dad's was the same colour but has chrome wire wheels.
This car had a 6 pack (3x double barrel carb) Chrysler 440 cu in (7.2 litre) V8
The other was also yellow but a more vibrant shade and had the same body style as the white one in the post above, that car also had a 440 but with a single 4 barrel carb.
Unfortunately I don't have any pix of the cars, as my evil sister has them all.

I've always thought that the Jensen Interceptor and thr Triumph Stag were pretty cool cars, and I'm not sure why they don't have bigger followings than they do.

Some pics from yesterday's Cars in the park Lichfield & one spotted in Chester on Saturday evening

I had an F reg XR2 as my second ever car. Loved that thing. Little go kart it was. Stuck a ss manifold and exhaust on it before upgrading to a Renault 19 16v. Will always have a soft spot for XR2s as a consequence. The XR2i I never liked. They got it right with the Mk 1 and Mk 2 in my humble opinion.

That's bloody lovely that is! Hope your selling out of choice rather than necessity.
I have owned the Dino for 20+ years, and it is now time to let someone else enjoy the car.

I have been fortunate to have had many interesting vintage cars, but the Dino has stayed with me, longer than any others, as there is virtually nothing that can beat the sound of the 2400 V6 when you are Roaring towards the Horizon

Dad had a Dino 246GT like this:

This ran the same engine as Blue Boy's Dino.
You're right about the sound of the engine.....I'll never forget that glorious sound!

246GT engine sound is fantastic, but its a little different, as it is all behind you... in a Fiat Dino, you get more induction noise, IMHO.. Both very addictive, even at relatively modest speeds 👍

Your car gets a shout out from Richard Porter @BlueBoy . About 18m in. As does the Facel Vega. Some great cars in this auction.

I have no idea what this Porsche is, but I really liked the understated look of this car. Some things that made it look special to me; Centre tape on the steering wheel, beefy exhaust and the roll cage.

@DrmexicoII thanks for the heads up on the Video.. Yes there were some lovely cars there, the Facel Vega was probably my favourite car there, but unfortunately it needed a full body restoration, which undoubtedly would take many years, and a small fortune!

1970 or 1973 Firebird base model, I do not think it was even an Esprite trim. Certain details rule out 71 and 72, ie the lack of lower exhaust on the front fender and hex grill insert respectively.

Looks like an 80-88 with early 70's style RSR flares and trunk lid. Odd it was not fully backdated to make the bumpers and rear valance look earlier as well.
