Omega Speedmaster 145.022-69 on an auction this week!

I Found another 145.022-69 on an auction, and here are the details and pictures!

Serial nr puts it with production Mars 1970.

Two things that immediately stands out:
The Straight Writing case back, and the decimal bezel.
And also that there were some service parts, not that this a bad thing, it always depends on the price?
Probably serviced recently since there was some kind of plastic protection on the crystal,
haven't seen this before on a sale.

The lume plots looked really tired, and sadly, no clue regarding the condition of the dial.
The hand looked better than the rest of the lumeplots, maybe replaced before?

The case and caseback are nice, and might have had a polish?

It looked like the bezel is a service bezel/not period correct??


I didn't ask for more info or extra pictures since the watch didn't "sing to me".

And it went down for 7800 € / 8400 $ inc the premium.
Maybe a bit high???

Well for a starter, its always fun to share.
Not everybody has the time to follow auctions?
And also to see how the value regarding Speedys are at the moment.
Lots of us might have a few, and since there has been a drop in value the recent years…?
