Never driven one, but always heard that TVRs went like rockets, and were about as deadly in the wrong hands

I've only driven one, the 1980's S2 or S3 with Ford Cologne V6. It wasn't that fast but the handling was weird, which is why the owner wanted my opinion of it. It had Ford Granada semi-trailing-arm rear suspension but with wider and less compliant tyres than the Granada. So as the suspension moved it went from one edge of the tyre to the other and with both sides doing that, but not in sync, it felt very odd.

The BMW Z3 was very similar for much the same reasons. On my usual suspension testing road I got the to half the speed I usually went along there in my Lotus and ran out of courage.

This is throwing me for a loop too. Body looks Italian -- but also it's so upright! The way it sweeps down so dramatically, it almost makes it seem as if it's a 4-door in proportion, but I suspect it's not. Which means you're sitting on that rear axle like that Cobra, or a Daytona Coupe. Looks really pretty though, love how the rear fenders continue straight back. I'm staying tuned, haha.

Edit: Maybe Italian designed, but British built, like the Austin ADO16/landcrab. I'm going with Pininfarina. Can't wait to see how wrong I am!
Edit again: Now I'm seeing Touring. It's like you took an Aston Martin DB4 and squished the trunk/boot in a bit. I'm really lost...
Jensen interceptor?

Griffith 400 it’s descendent.
I should have guessed the Griffith 400, as I had immersed myself in the history of Jack Griffith's automotive adventures when I purchased a successor to the Griffith 600 several years back, an Intermeccanica "Italia". The guy had vision, in addition to chutzpah.

Thinking about my test route I took a Renault GTA Turbo that way on a dealer's invitation. It was fine although I wasn't giving it too much welly because I didn't know how the French engineer in the passenger seat would react. He seemed fine, especially when I nodded approval for its ride on what was a pretty poor road. So on another very quiet, very good visibility country road I took it to about 210 km/h, that didn't phase him either 😉

Engine, drive train and suspension all good. But my dear, the very plastic interior! They didn't sell many so here is one for those not familiar with it.

I offered to take him round the same route in my Lotus Excel but he declined. Wonder why 😗

I’m calling an audible. My 3.0 CS street/track hotrod with a 3.5 and triple Weber DCOE’s doing a sprint to 85.

Finally have most of the interior sorted. All new carpet, headliner, door cards (front, rear passenger and cargo area) rear bench re-upholstered and the finishing touch, COCO mats.
I have a new dash to put in...just got to get around to doing it...

Still so much to be done though.

Future classic? lol
Point taken. Maybe, maybe not…. But you can’t argue with this one:
