It was a big car. Many UK retirees favour a small vehicle, like a Honda Jazz, but then our roads are narrower and the longest drive here, Lands End to John o’ Groats is only 603 miles

I wouldn't be caught dead in such a horrid little buzz box shopping trolley.
Despite the pukesome venereal muck on the roof of the Lincoln I'd still prefer it to the Honda Jizz........not by much mind you!

Unrestored, Grandmother's first new car, been in the Family since new. Built right here in Buffalo, went to the Adirondacks and back to Western NY when we bought it from Bertha.

I don't think you can do that these day, and definitely not in the future.
Hey grandkids! Here is your grandmothers first car...a 1998 Toyota Camry!

Just doesn't hit the same, you know? lol

Rep. And not even mine. I just get to store it sometimes. the 26 is a coincidence.
It's like having a friend with a boat, all the perks - no fuss!

Yep, that’s the way to do it, OPM (other people’s money)!

I'm guessing an Omegaforums membership pledge would be a tough sell? 🤔

I would say that’s a hard no, but you can certainly be creative and ask. 😁

it has been painted and now we need to put it all together again .
and thats me working on it on a 37c hot day , wasn’t a pleasure 😅
Our old MG midget
it was a very competitive race car in the Production Sports category, against cars in the higher engine size classes. it held the under 1300cc class lap records at many circuits and won the state hillclimb championship.

This is my ‘65 GTO, I drive it quite a bit during the spring summer. I go to many cruise meets, so I’ll be sure to take some pics of other cars this year to share with you all. It’s Starlight Black over factory red interior and stick shift. I love 60s American cars.

Thanks to everybody posting in this tread, great cars, especialy the GTO and the Good ol Ford. I have missed this tread and have not seen any classics since they usualy stay home during the winter.

If its ok to post Youtube videos, I liked this video on restomods. The Alfa looks great, but are electric. The two Lancias looks a bit boxy to me, but of course great cars. My favourite is the Cyan Volvo. Beautiful classic lines with some new weels and a turbo engin.
