It was parked facing downhill so they could get it started again.

Beautiful village though.

Good to see a Spitfire here, that looks like Harvest Gold but I could be mistaken. I was looking at getting one of these years ago but ended up with a Midget instead. Something about the Spitfire’s rear suspension didn’t fill me with confidence 😲

I always liked the GT6, TR range Vitesse and Stag.
I liked the Midget and MGB too.

The early Spits did have a rather disturbing rear suspension geometry….. fortunately later versions were cured of this

I love Spitfires, and have owned two of them over the years. Sometimes I think about getting another.
