Chronograph minute counter is not advancing

Hi! A couple of days ago I posted about my new Landeron 13 watch I received (here is the thread) where I said that the chronograph feature works as expected. Well, I spoke too soon ( 馃う ) since I didn't leave the chronograph running for a full minute when I initially tried it. Basically, the issue is that the minute counter moves a little but doesn't advance.

For the past few days, I've been trying to educate myself more on how chronographs function and I narrowed down that the issue is caused by either the depth of the sliding gear or the tension of the minute recorder jumper. My amateur eye tells me that is the latter since it appears that the minute recorder wheel needs a lot of force to pass the jumper. I'm curious if someone with more experience can identify the issue from the following video, assuming that is something obvious. I'm not planning to attempt fixing this myself, I'm just asking for my education. Any answer is very much appreciated 馃榾

Sorry but the video is a little too jumpy for my older eyes to follow. But I've had a Landeron 48 where the minute counter didn't advance. In that case it was a matter or adjusting the eccentric so that the long tooth in the chronograph seconds wheel more fully engaged with the chronograph minute wheel. Just a slight twist of the screw (maybe ~ 15掳 IIRC) to push the two closer together was all that was needed.

Based on what I see, it's the sliding gear not being properly adjusted.

I see. Thank you both for your input! It鈥檚 so fascinating to me how these small machines can function so precisely even after all these years. I鈥檓 trying to learn more about the inner workings and how to start fixing watches as a hobby (not the watch in this thread; this is too advanced ahaha) but it鈥檚 a bit hard finding concentrated material on how to begin. I wish there were classes or something similar in Vancouver for repairing watches as a hobbyist like they have in Seattle. Anyway, thanks again for your answers (and I apologize for the shaky video lol).
