    At least I’m pretty confident it’s a 14701 from the research I’ve done online although I’ve learned not to be too confident about anything yet. I haven’t seen any images of examples with the 6,9, and 12 rather than just markers. I don’t have any other pictures and this isn’t great, but I’d really appreciate any comments. These vintage watches are a minefield for me but I like this and I think I can get it for a decent price, but only if it’s right.

    That's a well known configuration. Only thing you have to do is google images of "Omega 14701".
    Based on this crappy picture I wouldn't be able to form an opinion on the hands (colour, insert).

    Thank you, i did google images but will check again. Perhaps I didn’t scroll down very far. The hands aren’t great and the lume in one looks missing, and very thin in the other.

    do you have any thoughts on the ring mark in the middle?
