Hi

This is my first post but i read on this forum for a while..and decided to join.
So i am interested to buy this watch (I am more an Omega fan and my knowledge in UG watches is limited) so i am wondering which will be a fair price for this watch. The seller said that the watch is rose solid gold..(in the pictures i don't see that) and that the dial is solid gold.
Here are the pictures..sorry regarding the resolution but are copied from the ad.

Thank you for your help and opinions regarding a fair price..

It's a difficult one to evaluate as it's not a particularly common reference.

To start with, the reference is unusual in that it is a Polerouter Date model but in a case that is more associated with the Polerouter Jet. To be clear, the watch is correct but just an example of an unusual reference. It's a 104602-1, which you can hopefully find marked on the case back.

The case is clearly 18k gold with the appropriate markings inside the case back and hallmarks on the rear of the lugs. Whether it is rose gold, I am unsure. It looks rosier than yellow gold is about all I can add based on these photos. You would need to see it in person.

I have seen several claims that some Polerouter dials are 18K solid gold. This may well be true however I am yet to see a hallmarked dial. I've seen the reverse of Beyeler, Singer and Stern Polerouter dials from 18K Polerouters (De Luxe and Date) with golden dials and not yet seen any hallmarks. I would be interested to hear from anyone who is able to prove that some Polerouters dials were 18K solid gold.

The Cal 215-2 movement matches the dial, so all is good from that perspective.

Condition is pretty good. The replacement crown would be enough to put me off. I suspect it will be very difficult to find a correct replacement. It would originally have had a crystal with a loupe matching the date window (I may have a spare). I think I would expect to see this example for sale around the 1500 Euros mark and probably a great deal more from a dealer and with the correct crown.
