I think the Japanese word means
Just curious, Showa started in Dec 1926, so wouldn't Showa + 39 years be 1965? 9th Dec 1965?
I just wanted to know, if the buckle is from the 60ies.

Btw you can tell it's japanese because there a few kana symbols, it's not all kanji/hanzi.
