Nice! Btw some 56KS watches come with bracelets. Google XAB123 if you're interested.
I recently bought one but I have yet to lengthen and adjust it.

But I am mostly into 45KS/GS anyway. I only have a few 56 which I will probably sell and keep 1.(and a spare donor for parts).

Btw someone on the forum told me about this before, so I am also sharing:

It's a an aftermarket modern KS buckle, not made by Seiko, but it's 16mm. I also have a 15mm like yours but I don't have a strap for it.

Do watch strap buckles have concerns?.......I imagine they don't as they seem to have a fairly care free existence

Commemorative clock presented by the regular vice president of the 'Futabakai' to the person who got a hole-in-one in the golf competition at the last meeting held by the association called 'Futabakai' on December 9, 1964.

I think the Japanese word means

Just curious, Showa started in Dec 1926, so wouldn't Showa + 39 years be 1965? 9th Dec 1965?

You bought the on from this pic for 300€... So nice. I want one too. I don't have any 44 or earlier yet. Only a bunch of 45 and a fews 56.

Most I find are gold plated and I am hardcore stainless steel.

I'm just an enthusiast and certainly no pro, but I've not seen a 60s Seiko buckle like that one. It looks (much) later to me. I believe the correct buckle would be one of these in 15mm:

They're rare and expensive. Luckily there is an OEM 16mm version available. It's still not cheap (though usually cheaper than an original), but it's easily available, like this one (no connection to the seller, it's the first one that popped up with a google search:

I always use Google lens for this:

Of course it's not a perfect translation but usually it's good enough.

Btw you can tell it's japanese because there a few kana symbols, it's not all kanji/hanzi.

Thanks for a great tip ! I just used it for a Japanese omega booklet i had no clue what it was for.
Now if anyone could help me with aproximate years it was used ??

永年勤続表彰
川口鋳物工業協同組合

The image translation feature is also available in the deepl translation application

“永年勤続表彰" is a recognition given to employees who have worked for a company for many years.

The Kawaguchi Imono Industrial Cooperative is believed to be an industrial cooperative association located in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. Kawaguchi City is known for its thriving casting industry, and it is likely that the watch was given as a gift to employees of companies that are members of the Kawaguchi Imono Industrial Cooperative.
