If the crown is signed (I can't tell from the photo), then it is original. Same is true for the crystal. Dial is original and in better than average condition, despite the light printing.



A good watchmaker should be able to source the hands for this watch easily. Otherwise, it looks good to me.

Price was pretty good in today's market. All steel usually brings a small premium over gold-capped.

He could negotiate a small refund base on the estimated cost of replacement hands. Seller probably doesn't want to deal with relisting.
