everytime I leave the boutique, I'm sure. then, as i obsess online, i lose a bit of interest. i think it's because the stock images on the omega website give the dial a bit of a greenish, matte look, whereas I think in reality the dial is a rich, deep, blue the reflects ambient light deliciously.

let's see some great photos to push me all the way over the edge!

There's no matte or greenish look to my eyes. Apologies for posting the same pics again, but I still haven't collected mine from the in-laws yet: this was when I tried it on...

It may just be the monitor calibration on the OP's computer. I don't see the greenish either on the Omega website. That said it is very difficult to photograph the blue on Omega watches, to my eye it often looks flat in pictures, not so much in person.

the GMT, which i think IS the same blue as the Ti PO, does NOT look the same blue as the one just 3 watches over...

Are you sure? It could just be the lighting of the pics but here's a comparison between the GMT in the website, the titanium on the website and the one posted by tiny lota. I've just isolated the dial so there is not effect of the bracelet, bezel or background. They Look pretty close to me:

Mine was a just a plain old iPhone shot. My father-in-law was once a photographer in the U.S. Navy so I'm hopeful he still has the skills to send me some better pics which I'll post if and when.

It's not the pic. Your pic is fine, but the conditions are different. That's the whole point of photography. The blue is going to look different under different conditions

The Omega press photos for the PO TI are very inaccurate compared to real life shots, I think they're renderings vs actual shots which would explain why the lighting is so completely different. Its a very attractive watch in person.

Seriously considering this as my next purchase. I was planning on grabbing a PO 2500 LMLE as my next grail. But the PO 8500 Ti with the blue looks incredible....plus you get the better movement to boot. And if you find from a Trusted Seller can spend about $2k less for the PO Ti vs the LMLE.

I already own the 42mm PO 8500 and love it, so the PO Ti may be the next one on the list.

FWIW

I just compared the colors of both watches in that link using Photoshop and the face of the PO is indeed closer to green than the face of the GMT, though both are certainly blue.

As others have mentioned, it could be simply different photo conditions or a render vs real life (though I think Omega should really strive to be consistent in their marketing materials). I have the GMT and love the blue face. If the PO is the same color (or if you love it in person), then don't sweat the color on the website.

If you're looking for an enabler, consider this a +1... 😀

To clarify: I know that it is blue and that I love how it really looks. I was just saying that when I go to look for pictures of it online in my obsessive mode , you know, to stoke the flames, the images of the Ti PO on the official website do not inspire me at all.

I was just calling for the enablers to turn out in full force with stunning pics of their titanium beauties

You can't rely on any pictures for this one... The reflective nature of the glossy dial makes for a difference every time you look at it...

But it will always look incredibly beautiful...
