Buy Omega Nato's Online?

Some comments about this thread......

First, NATO straps should be as cheap as they look. Why pay the Logo Tax for a name on it when it's supplied by some other manufacturer?

Second, I love self policing. Makes my job sooooo much easier, and public shaming often works better than private discipline.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled discussion.

I bought an official Omega Nato. It is very comfortable. Is it worth the money? Not sure. I'm going too make a video about the two but I have to say that I like having my official Omega Nato on my Omega watch. It just feels right. I might be buying into marketing and the brand but it is a very nice nato.
Also the Omega on the metal looks great just to remind you it's official.

Your picture is not very clear. Is the Omega name engraved on the third keeper, the keeper closest to the hole end? If not and also the missing buckle I am afraid you may have bought yourself one of the many duds available on the bay. For $225 even an original without buckle is way overpriced. Better have it checked out. If fake contact PayPal.

Again, your pictures and the picture of the eBay seller aren't very clear (and very few). Can you check the edging on your strap with the edging of the nato's on the Omega website.

Actually only on pics, see nothing.

If you're in New York just drive or train it to Short Hills mall in NJ or Manfredi in Greenwich CT. You could buy them there and avoid tax. Although the commute would probably negate any savings.
From personal experience, the folks at the boutique in the Short Hills mall are quite nice.

I am not in NYC. There is no Omega dealer. That's why I bought it on eBay.

The weaving looks to be the same, very likely you may have the real deal here.

I realy hope.
I've been watching nato straps on ebay for a number of months, and this is the first instance I've seen where an apparently genuine Omega nato didn't have a buckle attached. Seems like a ripoff at that price--seller takes off the buckle and sells separately for $40?
