Hi all

I debated including this listing in the Watches For Sale section, but since it is currently not running, I thought perhaps this forum might be best (opinions on that are welcome). I took this to my Watchmaker to see what might be done with it. During the cursory exam (case opened, but movement not dismantled) he confirms that although the balance wheel spins for a few seconds, the mainspring is shot. A mainspring would be replaced during a regular service anyway, so no big issue there. My watchmaker's comments are my due diligence, and not a guarantee. However, the movement and watch appear unmolested with little wear, and with all that taken into account, I am happy to offer the watch for sale.

What we have is this handsome 1950 Bulova “Windsor”. The 30mm case is small by today's standards, but it was marketed as a man’s watch. This is an uncommon model, with a super attractive design that (IMO) marries 1930s styling with the 50s

On my 6 3/4" wrist

On my wife's wrist

The details:
17 jewel 10BC adjusted movement (based on AS 1200)
10k gold filled case is 30mm excluding the signed crown
I do not see any wear on the GF case, though it does need a cleaning as you can see in the photos
Slim at just 8mm thick
16mm lug width
Strap shown is included

Was asking the original sales price of $59 US, now only $40, plus shipping from my home in Vancouver Canada. Payment by Wise, PayPal F&F, or interact for my fellow Canadians.

Sold as is, no returns. Please ask any questions in advance. References are available here (towards the end of the post) https://omegaforums.net/threads/pocket-watch-lanyards.115644/

You really need to get up close to see any marks on the dial (except that pesky mark on the subdial)

Signed crown

Those are some great lugs 😎

LO is Bulova's date code for 1950. A very unfortunate combination of letters, considering the other text they put it with ::facepalm1::

Thank you for looking, and thank you to the forum for the space!

Now that’s some fancy lugs right there!
Also love you are listing it as the original price. Wish those greedy Speedy guys would do the same.
