Omega Speedmaster Professional
Reference: 145.022-78
Serial # 44,818,xxx (dates to 1979 - 1982)
Caliber: 861 - 17 jewel, copper w/ Delrin brake
Bracelet: 1171/1/633
Period Correct Components: This example checks all the boxes for period correct components as defined by Moonwatch Only, starting with the serial # on caliber 861 movement, dial, bezel, tritium hands, caseback, crown, pushers, and bracelet.
Aesthetic Condition: No major scratches or gouges in/on the Hesalite crystal. The Omega symbol is present on the crystal. The hour markers on the dial have developed a beautiful warm patina. The hands appear to be original behave similar to the lume on the dial when exposed to UV light. The case is in good condition for it’s age. As can be expected for a 40+ year old that's been carefully worn and enjoyed, there are some small hairline scratches and swirl marks on the case, and one small flea bite on the upper right lug. There are no dings or dents in/on the bezel. The bezel insert has some damage visible on the black enamel at the 70 & 75 tach markers. The caseback metal is in nice condition, no signs of any caseback tool slippage/scratches. There is some loss of enamel in the letters on the caseback. The 1171 bracelet is in good condition as well, with no major scratches on the links or clasp, and very little sag when held horizontally.
Mechanical Condition: The movement appears to be very healthy, running +5 / sec per day @ 271 degrees amplitude (0.0 ms beat error) in the dial up position. The chronograph functions (start, stop, and reset to "0") are all in good working order.
Fitment: will fit up to an 8 inch wrist.
Box & Card: No box, no cards included

Form of Payment: bank wire or Zelle from US based buyers / US based banks only

I have one other reference from Omega Forums that I have sold a watch to, who has kindly asked that I keep the details of our sale private, but said I can provide his name to a potential buyer if they would like to contact him for feedback on me as a seller.

Thank you for looking, and thank you to the OF admins for maintaining this great community for us.
