Looking to sell another fantastic vintage Hamilton from my collection. This one is a stunning mid century Hamilton Sir Echo that feature some of the coolest and fanciest lugs I've ever seen on a watch. Based on the vintage catalogues, I’m fairly certain that this particular watch was manufactured in 1959. Earlier models had dot markers at 12 and 6 o’clock and later models did not have the rhombus shaped marker below the 12 o’clock marker. The ‘pie-pan’ like dial is simple but elegant and in great condition. As pointed out by @RevZMan123, sterling silver dial, and 14k solid gold makers! The solid 14k gold case is well preserved and is not engraved, which is somewhat uncommon for solid 14k gold models. Inside is one of best and most reliable movements manufactured by Hamilton, the 22 jewel manually wound grade 770. I’ve owned the watch for about a year and it has kept good time. Service history is not known. Original Hamilton signed crown. I’ve paired the watch with a very nice vintage Hamilton band and buckle. Price: $750 USD via Wise plus shipping from Canada at cost. $700 for watch head only. https://omegaforums.net/search/15236498/?q=Vanallard&o=date&c[node]=10
Lovely. I'm not sayin nothin, other this is really nice. Sterling silver dial according to the catalog entry.
This one is back up for sale. The buyer noticed some marks on the top of the lug near the 5 o’clock marker, possibly suggesting some repair to the lug. I’ve attached some additional photos. I personally don’t think it detracts from the stunning design of the watch or is something one would notice when wearing the watch. And now sold - Thanks OF!
If this thing said Omega on the dial, it would selling for thrice the price. This is a spectacular watch.
