·I believe that 321's go to the mother ship in Switzerland. It's gonna be some time before you see it again.
Anyone send their Ed White for service? Any idea how long it should take?
Mine had a piece of lint I was able to see via the sapphire caseback. It's off to Omega but I'm under the assumption that the service takes longer than other Speedmasters (I sent another one in for service and had a ~12 week turn-around time).
Got the call yesterday from my OB in Atlanta. Waited 3 years and 4 months for this beauty!

J jpizzzleHey all. Seeing that folks in the EU have had some luck getting the 321 without much of a wait and grey prices there have dropped. How are things in the states looking?
I see 14 NIB ones in Europe on C24 ranging from USD 19,700 to 25,600, avg about 21,000, I don't see that as hugely different from what we've seen in the past. Are people really getting a 321 from dealers and boutiques without much of a wait, that's certainly not the case in the USA from what I've seen, they are still slowly trickling out to people who've been on the waiting list from the beginning. If Omega is still constrained to 1,000 to 2,000 pieces per year over the three models (Steel , Canopus gold and Platinum) it's hard to see them ever getting ahead of the demand curve. And I don't think Omega would ever want to make these readily available, these are a halo model.

J jpizzzleSomeone posted about getting one within 10 days recently from an OB in Europe without spend history. May have been on this forum or RF perhaps. C24 tends to be higher than forums, but seems to be holding value nonetheless. They go for about 17.5-18k new on Moda recently.

About to send mine back as it’s losing 65 -70 seconds per day. Not exactly thrilled with the QC after waiting a year and a half for this watch.
Is this a new development or was it always running slow? Are you fully winding it (until the crown won't turn anymore)?
This unfortunately was the watch’s performance straight out of the box. I’ve demagnetized just to be safe but no impact. The regulator is maxed to ‘R’. It seems the watch was not regulated correctly.

I doubt that the watch had its final timing completed with the index pushed to max 'R' which is now giving a minus 65-70 seconds per day. Omega is not that sloppy and that's way out of spec. It's possible the index was accidentally pushed towards 'R' when the watch was cased up and wasn't caught, or the index regulator is loose and through shipping, handling and wearing it it has made its way to the 'R' position. (I had that happen to an AP during a factory service and they eventually had to replace the balance bridge to fix it). In any event it doesn't show great QC on Omega's part. Hope they can get the timing nailed down without too much delay.
Thankfully it'll be under warranty. Let me know if they quote you any return time. Are you in the US or EU?
I checked with the AD nearest to me about availability and they said I needed to "own 50 Speedmasters before they would consider me". Not sure it that was just because I look young and they wanted a "kid" out of the store.
