Will do. I just left a message with the OB today so we will see.

I am in the States - purchased at the end of April.

Update - sent the watch back to the OB - I was told today that watch is going back to Switzerland - no estimate on time.

Looks like the other watches will be getting more wrist time until the 321 returns.

Maybe, as that is quite a ridiculous statement. You sure they didn't say something like "$50k in Speedmasters"?
Maybe, but I'm almost positive they said 50 Speedmasters. The AD is in Utah and associated with a "religion". Not being a member, I haven't been given the time of day at business. Was interested in getting on the list for one but I'm guessing I'll need to go to another dealer and enjoy my FOIS in the mean time.

My three years on the list came to an end today at the Atlanta OB.

Truly a special watch, and I'm so glad I resisted to the urge to buy one on the secondary market.
Plus there was something nice about being treated to a glass of beautiful Japanese whiskey in the mall before noon.
For what it's worth to those still waiting, I'd say it can't hurt to stop by your OB every now and then and let them know you're genuinely interested. A little spend history probably doesn't hurt either.

Cheers everyone, have a good weekend.

At this rate by the time I’m allocated an EW 321, I’d have enough saved up for the platinum 321.

👍👎I can vouch that getting a Ed White 321 steel or Snoopy 50th Anniversary doesn’t necessarily mean you gotta spend thousands on a spend history@ a OB! I bought my first 9300 steel in 2007 and then received the Ed white & Snoopy both within a relative short time (months not years waiting) but having a great relationship with your closest Omega Boutique manager is helpful.
I was even invited to factory visits in Biel and to attend the Omega 1 day watch making course. Just awesome, highly recommend!
@Archer, I don’t know how you manage to work on such small Watch parts? I lost a few screws and scratched my dial taking apart & putting together their workshop watches. Which were actually massive (48?). I wanted to thank you for the amazing factual information you provide us forum members over the years! So thanks
So to people on the waiting list, stay patient and good things will come👍😀and make friends with your local OB manager

The OB returned the watch to Switzerland - the watch was evaluated with a 6 month estimate for repair. No explanation on what is wrong.

They don't know yet what is wrong, hopefully it won't be longer than six months to fix it.

It takes what it takes. I’m just glad to have it.

Anyone send their Ed White for service? Any idea how long it should take?

Mine had a piece of lint I was able to see via the sapphire caseback. It's off to Omega but I'm under the assumption that the service takes longer than other Speedmasters (I sent another one in for service and had a ~12 week turn-around time).

I sent mine out on 7/25 and got it back this week, 9/8.
They adjusted the amplitude and took out a small fleck of lint that was in the caseback.
No polish.
No part replacements.

Did it go back to Bienne, that's a quick turnaround if it did.

That's impressive, 6 1/2 weeks. Maybe they fast-track 321 warranty claims.

Just got mine back - mailed out Aug 4 and returned on Sep 29. The watch was returned to Bienne for service.

Excellent service by Omega - next day shipping both ways, no questions asked, and great communication along the way. First rate service.

Yours is the second 321 here on OF to be serviced in Bienne and to be returned in a seven to eight week timeframe, that's very good turnaround. OBs were saying turnaround time was going to be about a year for Bienne service, that obviously is not the case. Perhaps they have expedited service on the New 321 on warranty issues.

Thank you my friend!

There is something about this watch. It’s special and I think it’s the most special watch I own. The best part of the service is that now the regulator is set dead in the middle now.

Agreed. The OB told me that the 321s ‘go to the front of the line’.
