Don’t ask why, but I’ve just gone through this thread to count that, to date, there have been a total reported 38 NEW321s on this thread

I imagine that off this thread, elsewhere on OF, a few more have been been reported - but I don’t recall many

Let’s call it 40 total for rough play.

The first delivery was Robert Jan’s in July, 2020. His is surely one of the earliest deliveries by Omega, globally.

That means that in the past 15 months there have been about 2.5 watches per month showing up here.

In reality, there seem to be fits and spurts: for example the most recent post was just this past Thursday, but before that was 2.5 months ago, in mid-August. Also, the first 25 reported here occurred in the last 6 months of 2020, with the remaining 13 coming along in 2021

The rate of OF members reporting deliveries on this specific thread, of course, isn’t really terribly useful data. But it’s vaguely interesting to put a rough number to the OF reported deliveries.

So why did you do this? 😉

It's sort of a bummer that Omega doesn't create some way for us to know how many of these have been produced to date.

I'm sure that Omega keeps note of how many 321 movements are produced as they have to manage costs and supply and planning and so on. Maybe they will report it when asked nicely?

Really, just morbid curiosity combined with some overnight procrastination. 😗

Having a vague sense that fewer and fewer have been reported during 2021, I couldn’t help but scroll through to confirm.

That said, we don’t have a good “roll call” thread like the FOIS does; this NEW321 thread has been less formal in that regard.

By the way, my total above did not include the 1 or 2 bought on secondary market, nor the 2 early Franken-whites (service head + vintage movement) that people procured well before Omega deliveries began.

It also doesn't help that these are not a numbered edition...so the mystery is greater!

Kind of disappointing that production is so limited. The Houston OB basically told me it's a waste time for me to try to get one from them and only thing I'm getting is the Snoopy.

As time goes on I feel more and more fortunate to have gotten a NEW321; though conversely, I’ve been essentially told by Houston OB my luck has run out as it relates to the Snoopy.

Same here - it’s a seriously terrific watch which will stand the test of time.

I feel like most watch companies will usually only report the size of the production run at its conclusion. That is if they ever do.

887 here as well

Though I do remember discussions of others with an 888 start, I don’t easily find any of those discussions here

Good to know. My serial starts of with a few digits that I assume indicate the model and then 00005. I was hoping that meant it might be the 5th one made. Lol

@johnny5 if you’re still alive (get it?), would you share whether yours starts with 887 or 888?

If you’re one of those squeamish to share serials, no worries.

I just picked mine up and must say it wears beautifully on my 7" wrist. Love. It. And it is part of the 887 club.

Excellent, and congratulations.

As for the numbering, the only evidence I can find of a SS NEW321 starting with 888 is @Robert-Jan ’s piece

I believe I remember one or two others reporting NEW321s starting with 888, but I can’t in a quick search/scroll find them
