That looks stunning - congrats

I have just got a FOIS - what are the major diffs between the two - calibre, hands - what else? - trying to decide whether i add to FOIS with a Pro or a 321 or wait for a Snoopy?

Basically everything is different. Case shape, bracelet, caliber, hands, lume, etc. It's in fact completely different watch 😀

Can anyone of the happy owners please comment on the lume quality? Intensity, duration, etc.
How does it compare to the regular Moonwatch?

In a video from Omega, they say the dial was laser-etched to create cavities, so that they could put more lume in them.

sounds very promising, however would be still nice to know how good is the semi-aged lume, in comparison to the regular moonwatch.

I just did very unscience experiment. Took few of my Speedies, let the powerful LED light to charge their lumies and here we are.

Will leave you some space to discuss what is what 😉

Finally I got mine. I must say this watch is stunning. I swear I have no words to describe how I love it. Amazing, amazing watch. Straight lugs, colours, caliber 321, mega comfortable bracelet...there is nothing disturbing me. Yet 😀

Expensive AF but worth every penny.

Btw mine is 887001XX.

Nice pictures! Looks amazing - I really like the curved hands are back like a vintage Speedmaster👍

That is a great riddle. I'll give it a try:
- starting at 9 o'clock with the Snoopy II
- top left and top right: some 'normal' Speedmasters, 1861 likely
- 3 o'clock: Likely applied metal indices, given that the lume plots are squares, likely the steel/ moonshine gold Apollo 50th? EDIT 4 // After input from YY77 that cannot be, so I suspect a Tokyo 2020 model because of applied logo
- bottom right: Ed White, long indices + bracelet reflections
- bottom left: EDIT 1 // did think it is a DSOTM pitch black or vintage black but no, there is no date window at 6... which other Speedy had/ has a lumed bezel except Snoopy II? And why not the Tachymetre? 😕
EDIT 2 // It is the Apollo 8! No date, yellow-coloured Tachymetre ::psy::
EDIT 3 // Or the Alinghi.. but not sure if you/ anyone would buy this one?
Did I get any beyond Snoopy and Ed-White right? 🍿

The A11 50SS doesn't have lume at 11.

I also vote for Apollo 8 for bottom left. This is not a Pitch Black (which has lumes on sub dials AFAIK).

Yes you are absolutely correct. Then I would go for a Tokyo 2020... It could also be a Apollo 17 but I think this looks like an applied logo behind the seconds hand?

The A11 50SS is the only Speedy I have knowledge about and which shoe goes left and right, that's about it.😕

Noticeably brighter and the "regular" Moonwatch. Glows longer as well.

Top left likely the "regular" moon watch. Top right is the 'Ultraman' Speedy Tuesday II
Bottom left is the Apollo 8 DSOM. Bottom right is the Ed White!

Here is the solution. Kudos to you for great guesses! 😉 Common Moonwatch is represented here with the “Patch” 50th Speedmaster Anniversary. This one was too hard to guess. And to those with ADHD sorry for not resetting the second hand 😀

This picture was taken after the experiment so the lume is still glowing a bit therefore the hands color is slightly different here.

Quite funny how the AML catches the light, sometimes that is all you can see, almost a little mirror.
