Got the call and picked up #887005XX today. Totally stoked!! The 321 looks so much slimmer than the A11 even though it’s only 2mm difference. Congrats to all that have picked up this beauty recently. It really is something else.

Congrats - I’ve got the Apollo also. How does it wear in terms of width across the wrist in comparison to the Apollo? I always find the straight lugs to wear wider than the lyre lugs. Have you got a couple of wrist shots?

Thanks! The 321 wears a *little* wider than the A11 but not much. I have small wrists so the 321 straight lugs goes edge to edge for me but the A11 has a little gap to the edge. I swapped out to the Speedy Tuesday straps when I picked up the 321.

Congrats! BTW, the thickness difference is only about 0.5mm. The 321 is 13.8mm thick.

Thanks for info on thickness - I didn’t know about that. I guess I should have been more specific. I was looking at both pieces face on and referenced the A11’s 42mm vs 321’s 39.7mm diameter difference. The straight lugs make a pretty big visual difference too.

That bezel can sometimes look very grey in pictures. Is that very obvious in real life?

No. This is reflections. Depending on light conditions it could be black, grey, etc

For the completely uneducated - I know what a Speedy MW Pro is (1861 manual wind with Hesalite or Crystal), and the FOIS - what is the Ed White - is it he Pro with an updated movement or something else?

If it is the MW Pro with the new movement is it the MW that is like almost double to price than the MW and also is it Auto or Manual?

Apologies for sounding clueless on this - but if you dont ask you will never know...

The “Ed White” is based on the reference 105.003.

Is the current incarnation of the Ed White the ref: 311.30.40.30.01.001

or does it refer to more than one distinct ref, like a whole family or range?

If you start at the beginning of this thread it will all become clear where this watch fits in.

I agree, I would recommend starting at the beginning of this thread. But since you asked ...

There is just one ref. Besides sharing the same 39.7 straight-lug case as the original ST 105.003, it also sports the reincarnation of the legendary Calibre 321 that had not been manufactured by Omega since 1968 when it was replaced by calibre 861 (and later on the current 1861) which were cheaper and easier to manufacture in large volumes. This watch is not LE, however Calibre 321 has very limited production. Though Omega cannot manufacture more than 2000 movements per year, it is important to understand this is a maximum, not to mention that is across all models that may sport a 321 in the future. In other words, they will release just a couple hundreds Ed White per year, not every year (e.g. checking how many are on Chrono24), just to make them hard to get and drive everyone nuts.

Finally I got mine. I must say this watch is stunning. I swear I have no words to describe how I love it. Amazing, amazing watch. Straight lugs, colours, caliber 321, mega comfortable bracelet...there is nothing disturbing me. Yet 😀

Expensive AF but worth every penny.

Btw mine is 887001XX.

Can anyone of the happy owners please comment on the lume quality? Intensity, duration, etc.
How does it compare to the regular Moonwatch?
Thanks!

That looks stunning - congrats

I have just got a FOIS - what are the major diffs between the two - calibre, hands - what else? - trying to decide whether i add to FOIS with a Pro or a 321 or wait for a Snoopy?
