I would have liked the writings to be bolder and whiter to show more contrast on the dial, the glass not to be a sapphire and the bezel not to be made of ceramics. All in, I find the watch quite boring. The only exception is the bracelet which is far superior to the chunky one made for the 60th anniversary.

I think it’s nicely balanced in looks and style, the object was never to recreate a vintage watch but to make the watch using new materials that buyers in the 21st century would expect to find in a watch of this price. So IMHO Omega have done a pretty good job, now when’s mine due?

Congratulations on picking up this great piece.

Big question for me is. Does the bracelet of the 321 fit on the 60th Speedmaster?

Ed White triology

I think that someone may have a small liking for Ed Whites, not sure what gives it away. 😗

Congratulations, a fantastic trilogy.

Ed White triology

It may be the angle the watches are being held or the fact that the new 'Ed White' has a bracelet rather than a strap but to my untrained eye the case of the new EW looks slightly different from the older watches?

Yes, in that shot, the lugs do look angled down more than the other two, don’t they?

Honestly it seems to be the same. Need to mesure to be sure that there is not 1mm diff..

Great shot - love the way the end links integrate with the lugs. Same as the bracelet on my Apollo 11. That's a really good looking watch

I don't think Omega is going to mess with the thickness. My guess is probably 14mm like most other Speedies.

Probably part of it is simply the camera angle and slightly different position each watch has with respect to the camera lens. Think of how hard it can be sometimes to get all four facets to come out on a 105.012-66CB photo. Also remember the watch the new 321 reissue is based off of is Gene Cernan's 105.003-64, and the -64 reference is unique in that it does not have beveled edges, which -63 and -65 references do (discussed at length here beginning about four years ago):

@@Vale21, would you happen to know the reference numbers for your two Ed Whites?
