Bought my first omega !

Just purchased my first Omega, a vintage pie pan! Got it to match my girlfriend’s modern constellation. Got it legit checked at an authorized omega reseller but I’m still paranoid it might be a dupe. Paid 1950 CAD for it, excellent condition inside out, no box or papers. I know case is most likely polished but otherwise watch is very clean. Glad I made the leap!

I notice for me sometimes they don't upload when the file size is too big. But I don't need to "insert" them for them to be included. (I thought that just put them inline with the text).

Dial photos too blurry to tell anything. Suggest take new focused ones

Here's another one (you can't see but the omega logo is also on the crystal in the center)

Much better photo.
My opinion- Original dial, those little blisters in the lacquer are fairly common. I think I can see onyx inserts on hour markers. Lugs have been polished as you noted. Can't see the SN covered by rotor. Some light signs of rotor rub at some point on inside caseback, how does it run? Looks like someone may have used one of those watch winder tools with metal teeth on the original crown- these are almost impossible to wind with your fingers. Enjoy your Constellation!

Runs a bit slow (10 sec a day or so) but for a watch this age can’t really complain. Always wound it by hand or through wearing it so the crown wasn’t damaged during my ownership. Do you think I overpaid for such a piece. I know pricing on these is hard to pin down but thought I paid a fair price.

I think a little high given condition, but not unreasonable. Wear and enjoy it

Awesome! What can the SN # give me as far as info on the watch (I’ll make sure to take a pic of it next time I crack it open)
